New business processing platform a game-changer for under pressure NDIS service providers and customers
Disability service providers anxious about a mountain of new NDIS-related administration tasks can reduce that work to just a few clicks thanks to a new platform by not-for-profit technology enabler Connecting Up.
The platform, launched this week, assists disability providers to manage mounting overhead costs by using state of the art cloud technology to process NDIS transactions faster and at a fraction of the administration cost they would otherwise incur.
The new Business Process as a Service (BPaaS) program, called CUSP, is a shared services model allowing organisations to share the costs of millions of standard and common business transactions.
Supported by a centralised support team, it creates the efficiencies demanded by the NDIS while meeting all of the necessary NDIS reporting obligations and participant expectations.
CUSP is based on a tried and tested business processes management system, which has been further developed by Connecting Up to aid mobile workforce operations, merging customer relationship management, payment processing and other processing technologies.
“The launch of the NDIS is incredibly exciting for disability service providers and Australians living with a disability and present a range of new administration tasks that many organisations will struggle to deliver at the cost expected by the Federal Government,” says Connecting Up CEO Anne Gawen.
“Connecting Up has been working with project General Manager Rod Paine, from NDIS specialists 4thought consulting, to develop a solution that will ensure disability service providers can manage this new workload while providing the top class service that Australians with a disability deserve.
“As an organisation with a passion for the wellbeing of Australians with a disability, we feel very privileged to have the opportunity to help other organisations to continue providing top quality services at a time when their service delivery models are becoming more complex than they have ever been.
“Connecting Up is Australia’s leading not-for-profit technology enabler, and we help tens of thousands of organisations to keep up with digital technology and training at a time when these skills and technologies are critical for every business.
“The BPaaS project is a natural extension of this and allows us to combine our technological know-how and go to market experience to positively impact the lives of hundreds of millions of Australians living with a disability.”
